The Rise School of Austin is dedicated to providing the highest quality early childhood education for children ages 18 months to 6 years old.3 day and 5 day programs available
The Rise School of Austin opened in 2003 in affiliation with The University of Texas College of Education. Mack and Sally Brown helped found the school and currently serve on its Board of Trustees. Rise Austin is one of seven Rise Schools in the country, including Dallas; Houston: Corpus Christi; Denver; Stillwater, Oklahoma; and Tuscaloosa, Alabama-where the program began in 1974.
The Rise School of Austin offers:
Inclusive classrooms: 50% children with special needs, 50% typically developing children
Therapy-based curriculum, including speech/language, physical, occupational and music therapies
Lead teachers required to have Master's degree in Early Childhood Special Education or related discipline
Low student to teacher ratio (approximately 3:10
Full-time programming: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., August through June
